Folks,
I received my VoipJet username in e-mail today. Woo Hoo!
In terms of companies I've tried and liked, here's a quick run-down:
- NuFone -- Always up. Very high success rate for termination. Some
intermittent call quality issues that seem to be bandwidth issues at
NuFone (or maybe on my part... dunno.) I'd recommend them.
- Teliax -- Expensive for origination ($5/mo for an 800 number doesn't
work for me.) Good quality termination. Don't pass CID via SIP, but do
via IAX. I'd recommend them.
- VoicePulse -- Excellent all around. My only gripe with them is the
limit of 4 incoming calls on their DIDs is not really obvious. It's a
reasonable limitation. I'd recommend them.
- Pilosoft -- We rent rack space, bandwidth, and servers from them.
Everything has always worked exactly the was it was promised. I
recommend them.
None of these guys are big, but they all seem to understand that they
are in business to serve customers. Keep up the good work folks.
Thanks,
David
