He's thinking like a telco I guess. I believe AT&T didn't like answering
machines when people started hooking them up either...

Point is that its unfair business practice. Personally, I use wholesale
VOIP services for myself and business. I was trying to set something up
cheap for my mom - separate from me. It seemed like a good deal. I am
voicing my protest against businesses who think they can discriminate
against asterisk users. I am sure many agree with me.

Making snotty comments about the fact I'm setting something up for my mother
is a little immature of you and it's a childish attempt to try to distract
from a real issue. Asterisk discrimination.

Also the issue is not about UNLIMITED minutes. It is about a form of false
or misleading advertising.

Mommy, they aren't letting me play with them! Its not fair!@$

What's your problem? Are terms of service unclear on the website?

It's not like they have a monopoly on VoIP service - go buy from someone
else.

You want unlimited 10$/month service so you can terminate 100k
minutes/month? Give me a break.

You want to pay per minute? Then use broadvoice connect or similar
service.

What is with the people who try to find cheapest service and then complain
it isn't up to their expectations...
