Your pricing seems to be based on a per DID basis. What do you offer to
termination only customers?

Subject: [Asterisk-biz] E911 VoIP Solution - Dash911

> Hello,
>
> The E911 solution I'm working on has just issued a press release.
> Dash911 offers a lowered signup cost for Asterisk users as we'll deliver a
> pre-tested solution for Asterisk, so integration and testing is quicker.
> This is essentially an enhanced version of what Intrado offers, resold for
> smaller companies.
>
> When a call comes in, a simple HTTP request is sent to our servers,
> and the reply will contain the 10-digit number + caller ID to set. From
> there, you simply use your current PSTN connection. We chose this path
> because it has "less moving parts", and is far easier for our customers to
> implement than having to SIP to different endpoints. As well, there will
> be
> fewer quality issues, as VoIP providers should already have their PSTN
> connection already working fine.
>
> The system will work by always giving you a 10-digit PSTN redirect +
> caller ID to send. However, that 10-digit number is not always a PSAP
> (i.e.,
> it's unlike other 911 solutions). As Intrado migrates more markets over to
> I-2 (true E911), more and more calls will be hitting a gateway via the
> 10-digit redirect, and from there going VoIP via dedicated links to
> Intrado.
> ALI information will be delivered on such calls.
>
> In addition, Dash911 will offer providers a private labeled website
> so that subscribers users can enter their addresses. A SOAP interface will
> also be provided, to integrate E911 it into existing systems.
>
> Our prices are very reasonable, and the monthly minimum is $200.
> Setup is only $835 for Asterisk users. No obligation pre-registration is
> available now (until June 30th) -- get the setup discount + $200 against
> monthly fees. Dash911 will go live and be processing calls in July 2005.
>
> I welcome all questions and comments.
