[Asterisk-biz] Patent lawyers?

My view is "they" are just trying to shake you down.

Remember that a Patent has no value if it depends on another patent to
make it work.

These patents, I my review, after having read them, www.uspto.gov, are
like the pencil with an eraser patent.

Faber invented our "lead" pencil. Some one else invented the eraser on a
pencil. But the eraser inventor can not make pencils with erasers on
them because he does not have the pencil patent. His improvement has no
value other then the paper

While it may look like he has made an improvement, the eraser, his
invention is worthless without the original pencil patent license.

Seems that people like to "improve" patents and then claim the entire
invention for themselves.

A good patent lawyer will shut them off quickly. Look for one on the
USPTO site, http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/dcom/olia/oed/roster/

Is the link for registered patent attorneys. Here is a list of Georgia
Law Firms.
