Hi All,

I know hundreds of these requests get posted all of the time. This is a
unique opportunity for the right person / organisation to get involved with
a great company.
We have an existing IVR / Web application that we would like to rebuild on a
Linux platform. We are looking for some specific expertise and pricing for
building the IVR component of this using Asterisk. The requirements / skills
we are looking for:
a.. Build IVR with same call flow as existing IVR. Most of the calls are
actually outbound. i.e. person interacts with website, which generates a
call through the IVR. Responses / data is input through DTMF tones which is
relayed back into web database. ( I will send more details after
establishing capabilities)
b.. IVR interacts seamlessly with PHP / My SQL website. We will provide
the PHP/ My SQL web application
c.. Integrate good quality text to speech. Festival or Cepstral is not
good enough quality (from the demo's I have seen). We need to know what kind
of pricing you are aware of for good quality TTS. i.e. Nuance, AT&T (we
currently use this), Scansoft or some other good quality provider or whether
you have specific expertise in implementing any of the ones mentioned.
d.. Although not currently required expertise in Speech Recognition is a
desired skill for future developments. It would be good to get a rough idea
now of costs for planning purposes. i.e. you built a speech enabled IVR for
X amount and the SDK and per port fees for this particular vendor are Y and
Z
e.. Whether VOIP can provide good enough quality for calls in and out of
the IVR. If you can recommend good suppliers who will host and maintain
servers.
f.. If you believe a hybrid scenario of PSTN / ISDN phone lines is better
do you know of hosting facilities that can accommodate this and can you
organise installation for appropriate PCI cards
g.. Most of the calls will be made in the US UK and Australia. Eventually
other countries a rough idea of call costs including any monthly fees
h.. In the early days the web server and IVR would be hosted on the same
box but a clear plan needs to be in place for scaling this up to a high
volume IVR with several hundred concurrent users. i.e. a cluster of servers
  i.. Full documentation of development.

If you could give me an idea of whether you have hands on experience
implementing this kind of thing with Asterisk (who the clients were) and an
idea of time frame estimates and costs.

Please contact me off list.

Regards

Dean
