Well,

main strength opensource means: there's a community, the source is
available so anyone can fix or extend it, or the normal pluses
you get from opensource.

Main weakness opensource/linux means: nobody gets fired for buying
cisco, and opensource is a risk because it's so different.

And indeed, people think our product should cost a lot less then
it currently does, because hey, isn't asterisk free?
