Yeah with any of the 802.11X phones from UTStarCom, Zyxel, Hitachi, etc,
you don't need an ATA/IAD. You do need a wireless router/bridge/access
point for egress out to the internet, but no ATA is need. Of the crop
that is currently available, I would recommend the UTStarCom, because it
is the least expensive, and works very well in my, albeit limited,
experience.
