Jimmy - I spend all day chained to my desk, no need for a wireless phone 
in the office.  In my home office I use a Linksys wireless G router with 
(2) FXS ports, running out to an Aastra analog deskphone and a garden 
variety Uniden 900 MHz wireless phone.  I also run a softswitch client 
by Pandora Networks paired with a Plantronics CS50 Wireless USB 
Headset.  Occasionally use Skype with a USB phone with internal DSP.

The Linksys router/gateway is registered with one of our Asterisk 
servers, Inbound and outbound calls through there.  I'm a gadget freak 
so I'm always testing out new phones.  I would use a normal WIFI phone 
if I was on the go while at work, but I rarely leave my office so there 
is no need.
