Ryan,

You should post this question on the USERS list not the BUSINESS list.

Thank You,

Slander has to be misrepresentation of the truth. As long as you keep your
story simple and to the strict facts you should be safe.

I would suggest caution on doing this type of thing including posting on
forums,
mailing lists, and websites.

Even though it may be the truth, or it may not...this can be used as slander
claims.

I would suggest if you have a problem with a person or company report that
person to the AG of the state and/or the better business bureau.

truth is an affirmative defense to libel/slander cases, however you
still have to mount that defense so it may be good advice.

Even if you arent in NY elliot spitzer may be a good contract if the
company does business in NY, he wants to be gov and his claim to fame is
going after companies that are doing evil things.

Forgive me for approaching you offlist as I feel this does not belong in a "biz" list. I just need some help.

I have the one Polycom phone (IP600) and I've just installed Asterisk at home.. would you possibly be able to point out how to get these things working.. it took me a while to be able (just) to setup the phone..
The issues I have are on both the phone and the A at H sides.. (for instance, I was never able to setup ftp so the phone could pickup it's settings from it).
When I touch the Message key (as another example) it dials voicemail and asks me to leave a message.. (message notification is working).
I feel quite handicapped at trying to deal with the phone. I was barely able to install Asterisk at home (easy doesn't quite do it justice).

Any help would be appreciated.

I've got a network full of polycoms and it plays excellently with
Asterisk. What exactly have you heard there are problems with? I got
all the notification lights, buddy watch, and other featuers (besides
instant messaging) to work! I'll help you out if you have any specific
questions.
