Unless you own the AS Register and are the ISP / Ripe member then you really
need to route or proxy ALL the rtp.  It takes about 5 mins work (if that) to
run an ethereal trace and find out who owns the IP address.  I work for a
VoIP wholesaler - unless it is our own route end to end with our own IP's we
route all media - not on *, on a Nextone, but the business principle is the
same.
