I never said I wanted to port the number. I said I wanted
207-794(verizon) DID's. Calls to that rate center are free from 207-732.
Sorry, I must have misunderstood.
The only company other than Verizon that has taken any numbers from the
Lincoln rate center is US Cellular. They have a block of Verizon numbers
going to their switch: 207-794-4XXX AND 207-794-5XXX.
Rural Cellular has the NXX 207-290 in Lincoln.
It does not appear that any one doing VOIP has numbers in Lincoln. If you
have bandwidth there you could take a trunk or two with a block of numbers.
If you want to take a T1 at the Tandem, and have DID's from most cities in
the LATA, I would be interested in providing the interconnection. I am
willing to expand into the "not so major markets".
