Note that while there are people sending long distance traffic out on 
local trunks, doing so is taboo in some places.  While a provider may be 
successful doing it for a while, the RBOC could shut it down pretty quickly.

Local trunks are for local calls.  Local trunks used for long distance 
calls may become non-existent trunks.

I'd hate to be the guy holding the bag.
