[Asterisk-biz] Account Balance Reader for Asterisk IVR

Hi,
 
I have building a custom IVR application for a bank and need to setup the IVR to read to callers the balance of their account.
 
I need a software package (orconfig of Asterisk maybe) to be given a numeric string and spell it aloud to the caller.
 
Can anyone advise on available pakages or configuration?
