Hello,

The astGUIclient project(which is free as in GPL http://astguiclient.sf.net
) is seeking a few IAX providers(companies that will connect IAX calls to an
outgoing PSTN-type line) to allow us to test the new IAX-trunk-enabled
version of our software suite with their services to make sure our software
will work with real-world IAX termination providers.

For the first phase we will not even need real number termination, just a
recorded message on your server when we send calls through will be enough
for testing.

For the second phase we want to test real-world calling over DSL, Cable and
data T1 circuits and see what kind of capacity our system can handle and to
test performance of the selected providers.

In exchange for this temporary use of services we can offer user referrals
and a sponsorship links on the project web site. We are also planning on
creating a "Preferred IAX vendors" page that will describe the companies
that helped us, what they offer, possibly some pricing ranges and contact
information.

Requirements for the providers will be:
1. From 2 to 24 IAX channels to PSTN in use concurrently
2. We want to place 100 - 20,000 calls over 1 week's time
3. An open statement of documented system uptime
4. 24-7 customer/tech support

Any interested companies that meet the requirements, want to help out an
open-source Asterisk-based project and want some free advertising please
email me off-list.

Thanks,

MATT---

Hollo to everyone,

Please send me your A-Z rates and conditions off-list if your company
provides VoIP acces to A-Z.

BTW, can someone to explain how it works if I need to send the traffic
to the choosen provider but
before want to test the connection and to see the ASR quality of that
provider?
Is this some kind of contract or is it just prepayment, or is it
half-volume prepayment, or is it actual
payment based on used minutes?

How is this stuff works? :)

All hte Best!
Sergey.

Stephen,

I see that Diamondcard supports receiving calls from Asterisk to
your
network and outgoing PSTN access. Does it also support receiving calls
from the PSTN via DID numbers?

What do you mean in that your system supports an interface which
allows
the user to control the routing? Routing to where? Is this routing for
an incoming call to the SIP server/SIP client for that DID or something
else?

Jason, I assume you meant DID not 800 numbers. As Stephen asked, just
how do you want to use these numbers.

Thanks,
Mike Meyer

Stephen,

from the PSTN via DID numbers?

-- Of course.

What do you mean in that your system supports an interface which
allows
the user to control the routing?

-- With our personal numbers we have a back office interface where the
user can choose to route incoming calls to the personal numbers to any
land or mobile line or IAX or SIP number. Based on time of day, day or
week and even multiple segments of days to rout to wherever you want
to route the calls. You can do this for each personal number all from
the same back office.

Routing to where?

-- Anywhere you want. Its up to you if its your DID numbers.

S

Is this routing for an incoming call to the SIP server/SIP client for that
DID or something
else?

Jason, I assume you meant DID not 800 numbers. As Stephen asked, just
how do you want to use these numbers.

Thanks,
Mike Meyer

For a possible project I am looking for rates (flat or per minute) to
Romania. I am thinking of possibly trunking via IAX2 to a provider in
Romania with physical access to the PSTN, but willing to talk other
options.

Contact me directly off-list at leif.madsen(a)gmail(dot)com

Thanks,
Leif Madsen.

I am currently in search of a single 905 DID. Would also require
outgoing local connectivity to the PSTN. This would probably be a
fairly low number of minutes per month.

Please contact off-list at leif.madsen(a)gmail(dot)com with rates.

Thanks,
Leif Madsen.
