Careful about DID in Germany (was: Re: [Asterisk-biz] DID in Australia)

It might be worthwhile to note that the German regulator (RegTP) has
issued two decisions with regards to geographic numbers. In essence they
cannot be used outside the geographic area they are allocated for.

While these have been individual the regulator has made it clear the
will enforce this policy. I wouldn't bet my business on German
geographic DID at this time.
